Convention in Cedar City, May 2008
The 21st
Annual FUN FEST will be held on
Oct. 23-26,
2008 at St. George "Dixie" Lodge # 1743.
This is a week-end of
friendship and fun open to all Elks from -- Arizona,
California, Nevada and Utah. It is a fund raising event. The monies
derived from the Friday Golf Tournament, Saturday games, activities
and silent auction will be divided evenly between the four states
that have representation for the weekend. Each state decides what
Major Project will be funded for their state.
Motels are
plentiful in the area and the Dixie Lodge has a large paved lot,
covered pavilion
with bathrooms and showers for those who wish to
arrive in an RV.
There are 14 electrical hook-ups, water and dump
are nearby.
RV parking is
a $10 donation per night.
