A Hoop Shoot
to Remember
The
37th Elks Hoop Shoot Finals were held in
Springfield, Mass, on April 25. The 72 finalists
came from all across the country to compete. The
contest was full of excitement as usual and
especially when a record-breaking shoot out
occurred in the 12-13 year old-boys division.
Contestants Zeb Alford III from Raleigh, NC, and
Brenden Truman from Santa Clara, Utah, went 15
rounds, which is 75 extra shots, before Zeb came
out ahead. It was a great weekend that all are
sure to remember.
